ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Roel, a creative photographer and videographer based in Amsterdam.
I create refined, atmospheric imagery for artists, brands, and talent, with a strong focus on emotion, identity, and visual storytelling. My work moves between a raw, documentary sensitivity and a polished editorial finish, resulting in images that feel both intimate and elevated.
Working across music, I’ve collaborated with artists in genres ranging from techno to reggaeton and hip-hop, producing visuals for live performances, backstage moments, and campaign-driven content. My work has been used by artists such as Hardwell, Nicky Jam, and Holy Priest, reflecting a level of trust and consistency at the highest standard.
Beyond music, I work with athletes across disciplines including track and field, football, and hockey, capturing performance with the same precision, elegance, and sense of timing.
A defining part of my approach is the ability to deliver with both speed and intention. I provide fast, high-quality turnarounds while capturing the genuine emotion and energy that define a moment, ensuring imagery remains both relevant and timeless.
